🌞 Difference Between 737 800 And 737 800 Max
The Max 9 first flew in 2017, the Max 7 in March, 2018 and the Max 10 on June 18, 2021. The design of the 737 Max series is based on the Boeing 737, an aircraft series that has been in service
The MAX 8 replaced the 737-800 and competed with the A320neo. The 737 MAX 200, a high-density version of the 737 MAX 8, was launched in September 2014 and named for seating for up to 200 passengers in a single-class layout with slimline seats requiring an extra pair of exit doors.
The 737-800 is an older model. Some airlines were shifting to the 737-Max, a newer narrow-body plane. The 737-Max was temporarily grounded worldwide after two of them crashed nearly four years ago.
The only differences between the models is their flight performance/length. The -600 is without winglets and includes only the passenger model. The -700 has both winglet versions as well as a cargo, business jet, and passenger variant. Same with the -800 I believe.
Neither AA nor WN are pulling the Max 8 and their pilots have no hesitation flying them, but their pilots have been fully recertified with the new EAD for the Max 8 since the end of January - but the 737-700 is a much older and different aircraft.
In the past, IAI provided conversions for B737-300/400, but has now focused on the New Generation (NG) and currently provides P-2-F conversions for the 737 -700 and -800.
With the Launch of the 737-700ER I began to dig on info on the 737 series and accepted that there are two wings for the NG family, until now I have noticed that in the specifications on the Boeing site all models have the same wingspan. Could some one please point out what are the differences between the wings of the 700 and 800. Thanks a lot.
There are four versions of the Boeing 737 MAX: Boeing 737 MAX 7 - 153 passengers in two classes to a range of 3,850 nautical miles / 7,130 km. Boeing 737 MAX 8 - Successor to the Boeing 737-800. 178 passengers to a range of 3,550 nautical miles / 6,570 km. Boeing 737 MAX 9 - 193 passengers in two classes to a range of 3,550 nautical miles
The 737-800 global fleet is the most valuable*. While it's true that the global 737-800 fleet is worth twice as much as the 737 MAX 8 global fleet in absolute terms, it's only because there are just so many more 737-800s still operating. Indeed, we need only look at carriers like Southwest Airlines and Ryanair to see that the older variant is
